ResumeATS Check: see your resume the way an ATS reads it — before you apply

A one-time-purchase tool ($19) that runs entirely in your browser: drop in your resume PDF, paste the job description, and get the machine-readable text order, 12 layout risk checks, and JD keyword coverage with a 0–100 score. The MVP is built and tested; it is not on sale yet. This page answers one question: at $19 one-time, is it worth launching.

Why validate first

What it checks (built, tested, not yet for sale)

Tested in headless Chromium on two synthetic resumes: a clean single-column resume scored 91 ("Good"); a two-column, table-heavy resume with header contact info scored 63 ("Needs work") with the expected checks firing. Two scan-related checks are implemented but unverified by synthetic fixtures — disclosed in the tool itself.

Who it's for

Intended price (not a sale price — not on sale, no payment, no pre-order)
$19 one-time

Registration just sends an email — no payment, no commitment, no purchase obligation. Please include: your resume format (PDF / Word / other), your biggest ATS worry (parsing / keywords / formatting), roughly how many jobs you apply to per year, and whether you would pay $19 one-time. These answers decide whether it launches.

Register interest (sends an email)

Not on sale. If 10+ people register by 2026-10-29, it launches on Gumroad at $19 one-time and every registrant gets notified. Fewer than 5 → this line is shelved and registrants get a cancellation email. Price and threshold are validation parameters, not a market conclusion.

FAQ

Can I buy it now?
No. It's built but not on sale; this page is all there is.

Does registering obligate me to buy?
No. Registration only means "notify me when it launches"; you decide after seeing the finished product.

Why not just use a free checker?
Free tools upload your resume to their servers and cap free scans; this one parses locally with a one-time price. If free is enough for you, stay free.

Has it been tested against real ATS systems?
No. The checks are heuristic rules estimating formatting risk — the tool states this limitation itself.
