Expiry Radar is a planned local-first iOS app (native Swift/SwiftUI; Android later as a separate project if demand warrants it). Today these dates live in three different places: a subscription renews because the reminder sat in an app you rarely open, a warranty lapses a week before the appliance breaks, and a passport, insurance policy, or domain expires in a calendar entry you made years ago. Expiry Radar would keep all three in one list — photo a receipt or warranty card to file it, see everything sorted by what expires next, and get tiered reminders early enough to act. It would not link a bank account, move money, or give financial advice. It is not built yet. This page exists to answer one question first: is a unified expiry list worth $9.99 one-time to enough people?
This page promises nothing that is not written above. Features, if the product is built, will follow what registrants actually ask for.
Registering is just sending one email — no payment, no pre-order, no commitment to buy. Please say which kind of expiry has actually cost you money or hassle, and what you use to track it today: those answers decide both whether this gets built and what ships first.
Register interest (send an email)This app is not built yet. Development will only begin if 20 people join this waitlist in 30 days (by November 13, 2026); if that goal isn't met, the project will be dropped and every registrant notified by email. The price and threshold are test parameters for this validation, not market conclusions.
Can I use it now?
No. Nothing has been built; this page is the whole thing.
Does registering mean I have to buy it?
No. It only means “notify me if it launches”. Decide when there is a real product to look at.
Why not just use Reminders?
You can, and for a few dates it is enough. This idea is for people whose dates, photos, and lead times have outgrown three separate lists kept by hand.
Why local-first?
Document and warranty photos are private. They belong on your device, not on a server built for a validation-stage app.
